I’m Vivian and I’m a

Vivian has been an outstanding product designer, and a great partner as we grew the design team at Mynd from a rag-tag crew of three to an interdisciplinary, mature team.

At Mynd, Vivian got saddled with what became the most complex product in our system. With an ever-increasing rotation of stakeholders and a growing importance within the company, Vivian kept an even keel as she focused on the end users, got to know their needs and pain-points and and designed to make their life better; creating a truly cross-functional suite of products.

It was amazing seeing Vivian step into a Senior Product Designer role, and go beyond just designing beautiful UIs. In no time she was the main contributor to our Research Repository, teaming up with our UX Researcher to organize many unmoderated studies, in-person interviews and shadowing sessions as well as integrations with our data analytics: to justify design decisions and measure effectiveness of our new product features.

She also championed Design throughout the organization with her frequent appearances in the Design and Research Showcases and representing the user's voice in many cross-functional meetings and presentations.

Anyone would be lucky to work with Vivian, as I hope to again in the future!

While at Mynd, I worked closely with Vivian on a host of complex projects. Our product is a three-sided marketplace for conducting repairs and maintenance at long-term rental properties. Coordinating business impact via product development across our three customers (owners, residents and vendors) is challenging on many fronts, but having Vivian's help was a huge advantage.
